A  box or ‘full width’ rear dormer and a ‘hip to gable’ can transform your loft into a spacious daylight filled living area. The extent and the amount by which you can extend your loft under Permitted Development rights will vary greatly and require submission of a lawful development application to obtain the necessary permission.
